ACHT NA LEABHAR PINSEAN (TOIRMEASC AR AISTRIÚ), 1932.
Na nithe le n-a mbainfidh an tAcht.
1.—Bainfidh an tAcht so le gach leabhar, cárta, ordú, cruthúnacht no scríbhinn eile (dá ngairmtear san Acht so scríbhinn le n-a mbaineann an tAcht so) do tugadh no do bhéarfar amach d'aon duine agus 'na mbeidh aon phinsean no liúntas acu so leanas, sé sin le rá:—
(a) aon phinsean is iníoctha fé Achtanna na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1908 go 1928;
(b) aon phinsean is iníoctha fén Blind Persons Act, 1920;
(c) aon phinsean no liúntas is iníoctha i dtaobh no de bhuadh fostuíocht i bhfórsaí armtha Ríochta Aontuithe na Breataine Móire agus na hÉireann do bhí ann le déanaí no Ríochta Aontuithe na Breataine Móire agus Thuaiscirt Éireann;
iníoctha leis an duine sin ar é do sheachadadh no do thaisbeáint na scríbhinne sin no i dtaobh na scríbhinne sin do bheith ina sheilbh aige ar dháta no tar éis dáta bheidh luaidhte go soiléir sa scríbhinn sin no bheidh le tuiscint uaithe, agus a bheidh i ndiaidh lae na scríbhinne sin do thabhairt amach.

2.—Gach duine dhéanfaidh aon scríbhinn le n-a mbaineann an tAcht so do cheannach, do ghlacadh mar mhalairtiú no do ghlacadh i ngeall beidh sé ciontach i gcionta fén alt so.

3.—Gach aistriú no aistriú de dheallramh do rinneadh roimh an Acht so do rith no a déanfar dá éis sin ar scríbhinn le n-a mbaineann an tAcht so tré í do dhíol, do mhalairtiú no do chur i ngeall, beidh sé agus (má rinneadh é roimh thosach feidhme an Achta so) tuigfear go raibh sé riamh gan bhrí gan éifeacht.

4.—(1) Gach duine go mbeidh scríbhinn le n-a mbaineann an tAcht so in a sheilbh aige de bhuadh aistrithe no aistrithe de dheallramh a dearbhuítear leis an Acht so do bheith gan bhrí déanfa sé—
(a) i gcás aon scríbhinne den tsórt san do tugadh no do bhéarfar amach fé Achtanna na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1908 go 1928, no fén Blind Persons Act, 1920, an scríbhinn sin do sheachadadh d'oifigeach pinsin láithreach ar n-a éileamh san don oifigeach san no, mara ndeinidh oifigeach pinsin aon éileamh den tsórt san, an scríbhinn sin do sheachadadh láithreach d'únaer na scríbhinne sin no dá ghíomhaire cuibhe-údaruithe ar n-a éileamh san don únaer no don ghníomhaire sin; agus
(b) i gcás aon scríbhinne eile den tsórt san, an scríbhinn sin do sheachadadh láithreach d'únaer na scríbhinne sin no dá ghníomhaire cuibhe-údaruithe ar n-a éileamh san don únaer no don ghníomhaire sin.
(2) Gach duine go dteipfidh air, ar éileamh do dhéanamh air fén alt so, scríbhinn do sheachadadh do réir an ailt seo go gceangalann an t-alt so air í do sheachadadh amhlaidh beidh sé ciontach i gcionta fén alt so.
(3) Má ciontuítear duine i gcionta fén alt so féadfaidh an chúirt a chiontóidh é amhlaidh, más gá san sa chás, pé ordú do dhéanamh is dóich leis an gcúirt is ceart chun a chur in áirithe go ndéanfar an scríbhinn gur ina taobh do rinneadh an cionta san do sheachadadh dá húnaer no, i gcás ina mbeidh san oiriúnach, d'oifigeach pinsin.
(4) San alt so cialluíonn an abairt “oifigeach pinsin” duine bheidh ceaptha fé fho-alt (4) d'alt 8 den Old Age Pensions Act, 1908, chun bheith in a oifigeach pinsin.

PENSION BOOKS (PROHIBITION OF ALIENATION) ACT, 1932.
Application of Act.
1.—This Act shall apply to every book, card, order, voucher, or other document (in this Act referred to as a document to which this Act applies) issued to any person and upon the delivery or production or in respect of the possession of which by such person on or after a date indicated expressly or by implication in such document and subsequent to the issue of such document any of the following pensions or allowances is payable to him, that is to say:—
(a) any pension payable under the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1928;
(b) any pension payable under the Blind Persons Act, 1920;
(c) any pension or allowance payable in respect or by virtue of employment in the armed forces of the late United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, or of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Prohibition of alienation of documents.
2.—Every person who buys, takes in exchange, or takes in pawn any document to which this Act applies shall be guilty of an offence under this section.
Avoidance of alienation of documents.
3.—Every alienation or purported alienation of a document to which this Act applies, whether made by way of sale, exchange, or hypothecation and whether made before or after the commencement of this Act, shall be and (if made before the commencement of this Act) be deemed always to have been void and of no effect.
Return of documents on demand.
4.—(1) Every person who, by virtue of an alienation or purported alienation declared by this Act to be void, shall have in his possession a document to which this Act applies shall—
(a) in the case of any such document issued under the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1928, or the Blind Persons Act, 1920, on demand by a pension officer forthwith deliver such document to such officer or, where no such demand is made by a pension officer, on demand by the owner of such document or his duly authorised agent, forthwith deliver such document to such owner or agent; and
(b) in the case of any other such document, on demand by the owner of such document or his duly authorised agent, forthwith deliver such document to such owner or agent.
(2) Every person who, on a demand being made on him under this section, fails to deliver in accordance with this section a document which he is required by this section so to deliver shall be guilty of an offence under this section.
(3) Where a person is convicted of an offence under this section the court by which he is so convicted may, where the circumstances so require, make such order as the court shall think proper for securing the delivery of the document in respect of which such offence was committed to the owner thereof or, where appropriate, to a pension officer.
(4) In this section the expression “pension officer” means a person appointed under sub-section (4) of section 8 of the Old Age Pensions Act, 1908, to be a pension officer.
Punishment for offences.
5.—Every person who is guilty of an offence under any section of this Act shall be liable on summary conviction thereof to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds or, at the discretion of the court, to imprisonment for any term not exceeding six months or to both such fine and such imprisonment.
Short title and citation.
6.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Pensions Books (Prohibition of Alienation) Act, 1932.
(2) This Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1932.
