AN tACHT UM CHOMHLACHAS FORBARTHA IDIRNÁISIÚNTA (LEASÚ), 1980

Leasú ar alt 3 den Acht um Chomhlachas Forbartha Idirnáisiúnta, 1960.

1.—Leasaítear leis seo alt 3 den Acht um Chomhlachas Forbartha Idirnáisiúnta, 1960, tríd an bhfo-alt seo a leanas a chur in ionad fho-alt (2):

“(2) Déanfar na híocaíochtaí seo a leanas, amhail mar agus nuair is iomchuí iad a íoc thar ceann an Rialtais, a íoc as an bPríomh-Chiste nó a thoradh fáis:

(a)  íocaíochtaí faoi fho-ailt (a) go (d) d'Alt 2 d'Airteagal II den Chomhaontú,

(b)  íocaíochtaí faoi Alt 1 d'Airteagal III den Chomhaontú,

(c)  íocaíochtaí faoi mhír (a) d'Alt 2 d'Airteagal IV den Chomhaontú,

(d)  íocaíochtaí leis an gComhlachas nach mó san iomlán ná méid is comhionann in airgead reatha na hÉireann le 4 mhilliún dollar de chuid na Stát Aontaithe den mheáchan agus den ghlaine a bhí i bhfeidhm an 1ú lá d'Eanáir, 1960, de réir aon chomhshocraíochtaí idir an Rialtas agus an Comhlachas de bhíthin aon Rúin ó Bhord Rialtóirí an Chomhlachais i dtaobh sócmhainní breise airgeadais,

(e)  íocaíochtaí leis an gComhlachas nach mó san iomlán ná £3,100,070 de réir aon chomhshocraíochtaí idir an Rialtas agus an Comhlachas de bhíthin aon Rúin ó Bhord Rialtóirí an Chomhlachais i dtaobh sócmhainní breise airgeadais,

(f)  íocaíochtaí leis an gComhlachas nach mó san iomlán ná £5,819,705, de réir aon chomhshocraíochtaí idir an Rialtas agus an Comhlachas de bhíthin aon Rúin ó Bhord Rialtóirí an Chomhlachais i dtaobh sócmhainní breise airgeadais,

(g)  íocaíochtaí leis an gComhlachas nach mó san iomlán ná £6,230,000, de réir aon chomhshocraíochtaí idir an Rialtas agus an Comhlachas de bhíthin aon Rúin ó Bhord Rialtóirí an Chomhlachais i dtaobh sócmhainní breise airgeadais,

(h)  íocaíochtaí faoi fhomhír (i) de mhír (c) d'Alt 4 d'Airteagal VII den Chomhaontú.”

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Chomhlachas Forbartha Idirnáisiúnta (Leasú), 1980, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna um Chomhlachas Forbartha Idirnáisiúnta, 1960 go 1980, a ghairm de na hAchtanna um Chomhlachas Forbartha Idirnáisiúnta, 1960 go 1978, agus den Acht seo le chéile.

INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1980

Amendment of section 3 of International Development Association Act, 1960.

1.—Section 3 of the International Development Association Act, 1960, is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (2) of the following subsection:

“(2) The following payments, as and when they become appropriate to be made on behalf of the Government, shall be made out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof:

(a) payments under subsections (a) to (d) of Section 2 of Article II of the Agreement,

(b) payments under Section 1 of Article III of the Agreement,

(c) payments under paragraph (a) of Section 2 of Article IV of the Agreement,

(d) payments to the Association not exceeding in aggregate the equivalent in Irish currency of 4 million United States dollars of the weight and fineness in effect on the 1st day of January, 1960, in accordance with any

arrangements made between the Government and the Association arising out of any Resolution of the Board of Governors of the Association on additional financial resources,

(e) payments to the Association not exceeding in aggregate £3,100,070, in accordance with any arrangements made between the Government and the Association arising out of any Resolution of the Board of Governors of the Association on additional financial resources,

(f) payments to the Association not exceeding in aggregate £5,819,705, in accordance with any arrangements made between the Government and the Association arising out of any Resolution of the Board of Governors of the Association on additional financial resources,

(g) payments to the Association not exceeding in aggregate £6,230,000, in accordance with any arrangements made between the Government and the Association arising out of any Resolution of the Board of Governors of the Association on additional financial resources,

(h) payments under subparagraph (i) of paragraph (c) of Section 4 of Article VII of the Agreement.”.

Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the International Development Association (Amendment) Act, 1980.

(2) The International Development Association Acts, 1960 to 1978, and this Act may be cited together as the International Development Association Acts, 1960 to 1980.
