Féadfar roimhíocanna d'íoc leis an Ród-Chiste amach as an bPrímh-Chiste.

1.—(1) Féadfidh an tAire Airgid, fé réir na teorann a forchuirtar ina dhiaidh seo anso, suimeanna do roimh-íoc leis an Ród-Chiste amach as an bPrímh-Chiste no as a thora fáis fé mar a theastóidh o am go ham chun an Ród-Chiste do mhéadú chó fada agus is gá é chun a chur ar chumas an Ród-Chiste gach suim d'íoc 'na bhfuil anois no 'na mbeidh aon uair a muirear agus a híoc ar an Ród-Chiste.

(2) Ní raghaidh méid iomlán na suimeanna a roimh-íocfar leis an Ród-Chiste fén alt so thar suim dhá mhilleon punt.

(3) Beidh de mhuirear ar an Ród-Chiste agus beidh iníoctha amach as ar pé slí a ordóidh an tAire Airgid gach suim a roimhíocfar fén alt so maraon le hús uirthi do réir pé ráta a shocróidh an tAire Airgid.

Féadfidh an tAire Airgid airgead d'fháil ar iasacht chun crícheanna an Achta so.

2.—(1) Chun soláthar do dhéanamh chun suimeanna do thabhairt amach as an bPrímh-Chiste fén alt san roimhe seo, no chun gach ceann no aon chuid de sna suimeanna a tabharfar amach amhlaidh d'aisíoc leis an gCiste sin, no chun aon urrúis a tabharfar amach fén alt so d'íoc sa mhéid ná fuil aon tsocrú eile déanta chun a n-íoctha, féadfidh an tAire Airgid airgead d'fháil ar iasacht tré pé urrúis is dó leis is ceart do thabhairt amach, agus íocfar isteach sa Stát-Chiste gach suim a gheobhfar ar iasacht amhlaidh.

ROAD FUND (ADVANCES) ACT, 1926.


AN ACT TO ENABLE SUMS TO BE ADVANCED OUT OF THE CENTRAL FUND TO THE ROAD FUND, AND TO MAKE PROVISION FOR THE RE-PAYMENT OF SUCH SUMS TO THE CENTRAL FUND. [12th July, 1926.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— [GA]

Advances may be made from Central Fund to Road Fund.

1.—(1) The Minister for Finance may, subject to the limitation hereinafter imposed, advance out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof to the Road Fund such sums as may be from time to time required for the purpose of increasing the Road Fund to the extent necessary to enable the Road Fund to meet all sums which are now or may at any time be charged thereon and payable thereout.

(2) The total amount of the sums advanced to the Road Fund under this section shall not exceed the sum of two million pounds.

(3) All sums advanced under this section together with interest thereon at such rate as shall be fixed by the Minister for Finance shall be charged on the Road Fund and shall be payable thereout in such manner as the Minister for Finance shall direct.

Minister for Finance may borrow for purposes of this Act.

2.—(1) The Minister for Finance may, for the purpose of providing for the issue of sums out of the Central Fund under the foregoing section, or for the re-payment to that Fund of all or any part of the sums so issued, or for paying off any securities issued under this section so far as such payment is not otherwise provided for, borrow money by means of the issue of such securities as he thinks proper, and all sums so borrowed shall be paid into the Exchequer.

(2) The principal of and interest on all securities issued under this section shall be charged on and payable out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof.

3.—This Act may be cited as the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926.
