1.—Athghairmtear leis seo alt 2 den Acht Rialtais Áitiúla (Leasú), 1934 (Uimh. 5 de 1934), agus ina ionad san achtuítear leis seo go ndéanfar agus go ndeintear leis seo fo-alt (3) d'alt 12 den Acht Rialtais Áitiúla, 1927 (Uimh. 3 de 1927), do leasú amhail ar an 1adh lá de Dheireadh Fómhair, 1938, agus ón lá san amach tré sna figiúirí “1939” do chur in ionad na bhfigiúirí “1930” i ndeireadh an fho-ailt sin.

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Rialtais Áitiúil (Leasú), 1939, do ghairm den Acht so.
(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna Rialtais Áitiúil, 1925 go 1939, do ghairm de sna hAchtanna Rialtais Áitiúla, 1925 go 1936, agus den Acht so le chéile.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1939.
Amendment of sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Local Government Act, 1927.
1.—Section 2 of the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1934 (No. 5 of 1934), is hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Local Government Act, 1927 (No. 3 of 1927), be and is hereby amended, as on and from the 1st day of October, 1938, by the substitution of the figures “1939” for the figures “1930” at the end of that sub-section.
Short title and citation.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Amendment) Act, 1939.
(2) The Local Government Acts, 1925 to 1936, and this Act may be cited together as the Local Government Acts, 1925 to 1939.
