ACHT CHUN ACHT NA nATURNAETHE (ÉIRINN), 1898, DO LEASÚ. [29adh Márta, 1923.] ACHTUIGHEADH OIREACHTAS SHAORSTÁIT ÉIREANN MAR LEANAS:—

1.—Déanfar Acht na nAtúrnaethe (Éirinn), 1898 (dá ngoirtear feasta anso an Príomh-Acht) do leasú agus leasuítear é leis seo fé mar a foráltar san Alt so.

(a) In Alt 8 den Phríomh-Acht cuirfear an focal “twice” in ionad na bhfocal “three times” agus beidh éifeacht ag an Alt san dá réir.

(b) Leasófar Alt 29 den Phríomh-Acht tré sna forálacha so leanas do chur leis :

Aon duine a leigeadh isteach mar Atúrnae den Chúirt Uachtarach i Sasana agus a bhí ag cleachta i láthair na Cúirte sin ar feadh trí mblian ar a luighead, agus aon duine a cuireadh ar an rolla mar Ghníomhaire Dlí in Albain agus a bhí ag cleachta i láthair Cúirte an tSiosóin ar feadh trí mblian ar a luighead beidh sé i dteideal é do leigeant isteach mar Atúrnae fé fhorálacha an Achta so gan seirbhís ná scrúdú ar é do chó-líona na rialachán agus d'íoc na dtáillí a leagfar amach ag Dlí-Chumann Inchorpálta na hÉireann.

(c) Sé an táille a bheidh le n-íoc fé Alt 43 den Phríomh-Acht i dtaobh tabhartha teistis an Chlárathóra ná púnt n ionad chúig scillinge agus beidh éifeacht ag an Alt san dá réir.

2.—Féadfar an t-Acht chun Acht na nAtúrnaethe (Éirinn), 1898, do Leasú, 1923, do ghairm den Acht so.

AN ACT TO AMEND THE SOLICITORS (IRELAND) ACT, 1898. [29th March, 1923.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:—

1.—The Solicitors (Ireland) Act, 1898 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act) shall be and is hereby amended as in this Section provided.

(a) In Section 8 of the principal Act, the word “twice” shall be substituted for the words “three times” and that Section shall have effect accordingly.

(b) Section 29 of the principal Act shall be amended by the addition thereto of the following provisions:

Any person who has been admitted a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in England and who has been in practice before such Court for not less than three years, and any person who has been enrolled a Law Agent in Scotland and has been in practice before the Court of Session for not less than three years shall be entitled to be admitted a Solicitor under the provisions of this Act without service or examination upon complying with the regulations and payment of the fees prescribed by the Incorporated Law Society of Ireland.

(c) The fee payable under Section 43 of the principal Act in respect of the issue of the Registrar's certificate shall be one pound instead of five shillings and that Section shall have effect accordingly.

2.—This Act may be cited as the Solicitors (Ireland) Act, 1898, Amendment Act, 1923.
