An tráth a thabharfaidh an Foras Tionscal ceadú le haghaidh gnóthais a mhéadú agus a oiriúnú.

1.—Féadfar deontas a thabhairt faoi alt 4 den Acht um Limistéir Neamhfhorbartha (Leasú), 1963, tar éis an 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1966, i leith méadú nó oiriúnú is den chinéal dá dtagraítear san alt sin agus a bheidh arna cheadú ag an mBord an 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1966, nó dá éis agus roimh an 30ú lá de Mheitheamh, 1968, agus féadfar deontas a thabhairt faoi alt 4 den Acht um Dheontais Tionscail (Leasú), 1963, tar éis an 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1966, i leith méadú nó oiriúnú is den chineál dá dtagraítear san alt sin agus a bheidh arna cheadú ag an mBord an 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1966, nó dá éis agus roimh an 30ú lá de Mheitheamh, 1968, más rud é, i ngach cás, gur dáta roimh an 30ú lá de Mheán Fómhair, 1967, dáta an iarratais chun an Bhoird ag iarraidh deontais agus, i gcás an t-iarratas a dhéanamh tar éis an 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1966, gur dáta tar éis dáta an iarratais a dhéanamh dáta an mhéadaithe nó an oiriúnaithe a thosú agus, dá réir sin, déantar leis seo “an 30ú lá de Mheitheamh, 1968” a chur in ionad “an 31ú lá de Nollaig, 1967” (a cuireadh isteach leis an Acht um Dheontais Tionscail (Leasú), 1966) sa dara háit ina bhfuil sé i bhfo-alt (5) de na hailt sin.

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Dheontais Tionscail (Leasú), 1968, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna um Limistéir Neamhfhorbartha, 1952 go 1968, a ghairm de na hAchtanna um Limistéir Neamhfhorbartha, 1952 go 1966, agus den Acht seo (sa mhéid go leasaíonn sé na hAchtanna sin) is chéile agus féadfar na hAchtanna um Dheontais Tionscail, 1959 go 1968, a ghairm de na hAchtanna um Dheontais Tionscail, 1959 go 1966, agus den Acht seo (sa mhéid go leasaíonn sé na hAchtanna sin) le chéile.

INDUSTRIAL GRANTS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1968

Time for approval by An Foras Tionscal of enlargements and adaptations of undertakings.

1.—A grant may be made under section 4 of the Undeveloped Areas (Amendment) Act, 1963, after the 31st day of March, 1966, in respect of an enlargement or adaptation that is of the kind referred to in that section and is approved by the Board on or after the 31st day of March, 1966, and before the 30th day of June, 1968, and a grant may be made under section 4 of the Industrial Grants (Amendment) Act, 1963, after the 31st day of March, 1966, in respect of an enlargement or adaptation that is of the kind referred to in that section and is approved by the Board on or after the 31st day of March, 1966, and before the 30th day of June, 1968, if, in each case, an application for the grant was made to the Board, before the 30th day of September, 1967, and, in case the application was made after the 31st day of March, 1966, the enlargement or adaptation was or is commenced after the date of the making of the application and, accordingly, “30th day of June, 1968” is hereby substituted for “31st day of December, 1967” (inserted by the Industrial Grants (Amendment) Act, 1966) where it secondly occurs in subsection (5) of those sections.

Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial Grants (Amendment) Act, 1968.

(2) The Undeveloped Areas Acts, 1952 to 1966, and this Act (in so far as it amends those Acts) may be cited together as the Undeveloped Areas Acts, 1952 to 1968, and the Industrial Grants Acts, 1959 to 1966, and this Act (in so far as it amends those Acts) may be cited together as the Industrial Grants Acts, 1959 to 1968.
