£5,504,458 d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar críoch 31 Márta, 1956.
1.—Féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais suim Chúig Mhilliún Cúig Chéad agus Ceithre Mhíle Ceithre Chéad Caoga agus Ocht bPuint d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste agus í a chur chun slánuithe an tsoláthair a deonadh i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar críoch an t-aonú lá tríochad de Mhárta míle naoi gcéad caoga a sé.
£36,200,000 d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar críoch 31 Márta, 1957.
2.—Féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais suim Tríocha agus Sé Mhilliún agus Dhá Chéad Míle Punt d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste agus í a chur chun slánuithe an tsoláthair a deonadh i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar críoch an t-aonú lá tríochad de Mhárta míle naoi gcéad caoga a seacht.
Cumhacht don Aire Airgeadais chun suim nach mó ná £41,704,458 d'fháil ar iasacht.
3.—(1) Féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais aon tsuim nó suimeanna nach mó san iomlán ná Ceathracha agus Aon Mhilliún Seacht gCéad agus Ceithre Mhíle Ceithre Chéad Caoga agus Ocht bPuint d'fháil ar iasacht ó dhuine ar bith agus féadfaidh Banc na hÉireann an céanna d'airleacan chun an Aire Airgeadais agus, chun an céanna d'fháil ar iasacht, féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais urrúis ar bith a chruthnú agus d'eisiúint agus iad faoi pé ráta úis agus fós faoi réir pé coinníoll i dtaobh aisíoca nó fuascailte nó eile is oiriúnach leis.
(2) Is ar an bPríomh-Chiste nó a thoradh fáis a bheas muirear príomhshuime agus úis aon urrús a heiseofar faoin Acht seo agus muirear na gcostas faoina raghfar i dtaobh na hurrúis sin d'eisiúint.
(3) Aon airgead a cruinneofar trí urrúis a heiseofar faoin Acht seo, cuirfear chun creidmheasa do chuntas an Stát-Chiste é agus beidh sé ina chuid den Phríomh-Chiste agus beidh sé ar fáil in aon tslí ina mbeidh an Príomh-Chiste ar fáil.
An Ciste Caipitil.
4.—(1) San alt seo—
ciallaíonn “an tAire” an tAire Airgeadais;
ciallaíonn “an Ciste” an Ciste Caipitil a bunaítear le fo-alt (2) den alt seo;
ciallaíonn “airgead poiblí” airgead a muirearaítear ar an bPríomh-Chiste nó a heisítear as an bPríomh-Chiste nó a sholáthraíos an tOireachtas.
(2) Bunaítear leis seo ciste ar a dtabharfar an Ciste Caipitil agus a bheas faoi chúram agus bainistí an Aire.
(3) Muirearófar ar an bPríomh-Chiste, agus eiseofar chun an Chiste as an bPríomh-Chiste do réir orduithe an Aire, na suimeanna a gcinnfidh an tAire ó am go ham gurb iad na suimeanna iad is ionann agus fáltais an Stát-Chiste i leith an Tobhaigh Speisialta Allmhuirithe.
(4) Féadfaidh an tAire an Ciste d'úsáid chun aon chríocha a soláthraítear airgead poiblí ina n-aghaidh nó i leith a gcostas agus a chabhraíos le hacmhainn chaipitiúil d'fhorbairt nó d'fheabhsú, agus féadfaidh an tAire pé téarmaí nó coinníollacha is cuí leis a chur le haon úsáid den tsórt sin.
(5) Cuirfear chun creidmheasa don Chiste aon chaipiteal a haisíocfar nó aon ús a híocfar de bhun téarmaí nó coinníollacha dá dtagartar i bhfo-alt (4) den alt seo.
(6) Ullmhóidh an tAire i leith gach bliana airgeadais cuntas ar na suimeanna a híocadh isteach sa Chiste agus amach as, agus cuirfear an cuntas faoi bhráid an Ard-Reachtaire Chuntas agus Ciste lena scrúdú agus le tuarascáil a thabhairt air.
(7) Leagfaidh an tAire faoi bhráid gach Tí den Oireachtas cóip de gach cuntas a hullmhófar faoi fho-alt (6) den alt seo agus cóip de gach tuarascáil air ón Ard-Reachtaire Cuntas agus Ciste.

CENTRAL FUND ACT, 1956.
Issue of £5,504,458 out of the Central Fund for the service of the year ending 31st March, 1956.
1.—The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Central Fund and apply towards making good the supply granted for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March one thousand nine hundred and fifty-six the sum of Five Million Five Hundred and Four Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-eight Pounds.
Issue of £36,200,000 out of the Central Fund for the service of the year ending 31st March, 1957.
2.—The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Central Fund and apply towards making good the supply granted for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, the sum of Thirty-six Million Two Hundred Thousand Pounds.
Power of Minister for Finance to borrow up to £41,704,458.
3.—(1) The Minister for Finance may borrow from any person and the Bank of Ireland may advance to the Minister for Finance any sum or sums not exceeding in the whole Forty-one Million Seven Hundred and Four Thousand Four Hundred and Fifty-eight Pounds and for the purpose of such borrowing the Minister for Finance may create and issue any securities bearing such rate of interest and subject to such conditions as to repayment, redemption or otherwise as he thinks fit.
(2) The principal and interest of any securities issued under this Act and the expenses incurred in connection with the issue of such securities shall be charged on the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof.
(3) Any money raised by securities issued under this Act shall be placed to the credit of the account of the Exchequer and shall form part of the Central Fund and be available in any manner in which such Fund is available.
Capital Fund.
4.—(1) In this section—
“the Minister” means the Minister for Finance;
“the Fund” means the Capital Fund established by subsection (2) of this section;
“public moneys” means moneys charged on or issued out of the Central Fund or provided by the Oireachtas.
(2) There is hereby established a fund which shall be known as the Capital Fund and which shall be under the control and management of the Minister.
(3) There shall be charged on the Central Fund, and issued in accordance with the directions of the Minister out of the Central Fund to the Fund, such sums as the Minister may from time to time determine as the sums equivalent to the Exchequer receipts in respect of Special Import Levy.
(4) The Minister may apply the Fund for any purposes for or towards the cost of which public moneys are provided and which are conducive to the development or improvement of capital resources, and any such application may be on such terms or conditions as the Minister considers proper.
(5) Any repayment of capital or payment of interest made pursuant to terms or conditions referred to in subsection (4) of this section shall be credited to the Fund.
(6) The Minister shall prepare in respect of each financial year an account of the payments into and out of the Fund, and the account shall be submitted to the Comptroller and Auditor General for examination and report.
(7) The Minister shall lay before each House of the Oireachtas a copy of every account prepared under subsection (6) of this section and of every report of the Comptroller and Auditor General thereon.
Short title.
5.—This Act may be cited as the Central Fund Act, 1956.
