ACHTAÍTEAR AG AN OIREACHTAS MAR LEANAS:—
An Príomh-Acht.
1.—San Acht seo, ciallaíonn an abairt “an Príomh-Acht” Acht an Ard-Scrúdóra, 1923 (Uimh. 1 de 1923).
Alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht a leasú.
2.—Déanfar an tuarastal bliantúil is iníoctha faoi fho-alt (1) d'alt 2 (a bhaineas le tuarastal an Ard-Reachtaire Cuntas agus Ciste) den Phríomh-Acht a mhéadú cúig fichead faoin gcéad.
Gearrtheideal, tosach foidhme agus comhlua.
3.—(1) Féadfar Acht an Ard-Reachtaire Cuntas agus Ciste (Leasú), 1947, a ghairm den Acht seo.
(2) Is tuigthe an tAcht seo a theacht i ngníomh an lú lá d'Aibreán, 1947, agus beidh éifeacht aige amhail ar an lá sin agus ón lá sin amach.
(3) Féadfar Achta an Ard-Reachtaire Cuntas agus Ciste, 1923 go 1947, a ghairm den Phríomh-Acht, d'Acht an Ard-Reachtaire Cuntas agus Ciste (Leasú), 1944 (Uimh. 19 de 1944), agus den Acht seo le chéile.

COMPTROLLER AND AUDITOR GENERAL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1947.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—
The Principal Act.
1.—In this Act, the expression “the Principal Act” means the Comptroller and Auditor-General Act, 1923 (No. 1 of 1923).
Amendment of section 2 of the Principal Act.
2.—The annual salary payable under subsection (1) of section 2 (which relates to the salary of the Comptroller and Auditor General) of the Principal Act shall be increased by twenty-five per cent.
Short title, commencement and collective citation.
3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1947.
(2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on, and shall have effect as on and from, the 1st day of April, 1947.
(3) The Principal Act and the Comptroller and Auditor General (Amendment) Act, 1944 (No. 19 of 1944), and this Act may be cited together as the Comptroller and Auditor General Acts, 1923 to 1947.
