TRADE LOANS (GUARANTEE) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1929.
The Principal Act.
1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Act, 1924 (No. 41 of 1924).
Extension of time for guarantees, etc., under the Principal Act.
2.—(1) Sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1928 (No. 19 of 1928), is hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that no guarantee shall be given under section 1 of the Principal Act after the 31st day of July, 1930.
(2) Sub-section (2) of section 2 of the said Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1928, is hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that no loan shall be granted and no guarantee shall be given under section 2 of the Principal Act after the 31st day of July, 1930.
Limitation of time for making applications.
3.—(1) The Minister for Industry and Commerce may, if he thinks fit so to do, publish in the Iris Oifigiúil a notice stating that no applications for guarantees under section 1 of the Principal Act as amended by this Act or for loans or guarantees under section 2 of the Principal Act as so amended made after a date specified in that behalf in such notice will be entertained by the said Minister.
(2) When a notice has been published under the foregoing sub-section the Minister for Industry and Commerce shall not entertain any such application as is mentioned in the said sub-section which is made after the date specified as aforesaid in such notice.
Short title and citation.
4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1929.
(2) The Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924 to 1928, and this Act may be cited together as the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924 to 1929.

2.—(1) Athghairmtear leis seo fo-alt (1) d'alt 2 den Acht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht) (Leasú), 1928 (Uimh. 19 de 1928) agus ina ionad san achtuítear leis seo ná tabharfar aon urraíocht fé alt 1 den Phríomh-Acht tar éis an 31adh lá d'Iúl, 1930.
(2) Athghairmtear leis seo fo-alt (2) d'alt 2 den Acht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht) (Leasú), 1928, adubhradh, agus ina ionad san achtuítear leis seo ná deonfar aon iasacht agus ná tabharfar aon urraíocht fé alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht tar éis an 31adh lá d'Iúl, 1930.

3.—(1) Féadfidh an tAire Tionnscail agus Tráchtála, más oiriúnach leis é, fógra d'fhoillsiú san Iris Oifigiúil á rá ná breithneoidh an tAire sin aon iarrataisí a déanfar, tar éis dáta a bheidh luaidhte chuige sin sa bhfógra san, ar urraíochtaí fé alt 1 den Phríomh-Acht mar a leasuítear leis an Acht so é no ar iasachtaí no ar urraíochtaí fé alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht mar a leasuítear amhlaidh é.
(2) Nuair a bheidh fógra foillsithe fén bhfo-alt san roimhe seo ní bhreithneoidh an tAire Tionnscail agus Tráchtála aon iarratas den tsórt a luaidhtear sa bhfo-alt san agus a déanfar tar éis an dáta a bheidh luaidhte mar adubhradh sa bhfógra san.

4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht) (Leasú), 1929, do ghairm den Acht so.
(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht), 1924 go 1929, do ghairm de sna hAchtanna Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht), 1924 go 1928, agus den Acht so le chéile.
