1.—San Acht so cialluíonn an abairt “Achtanna 1926 agus 1928” Acht na nUdarás nAitiúil (Comhar-Arachas), 1926 (Uimh. 34 de 1926) agus Acht na nUdarás nAitiúil (Comhar-Arachas), 1928 (Uimh. 21 de 1928).

2.—Beidh gach coiste oideachais ghairme beatha agus tuigfear go raibh sé riamh ina údarás áitiúil chun crícheanna agus do réir bhrí Achtanna 1926 agus 1928, agus bainfidh na hAchtanna san agus tuigfear gur bhaineadar riamh le coistí oideachais ghairme beatha dá réir sin.

3.—(1) Féadfaidh an tAire Rialtais Áitiúla agus Sláinte Puiblí, le hordú, a dhearbhú aon chólucht, údarás no bord áitiúil a hainmneofar agus a tuairisceofar san ordú san do bheith ina údarás áitiúil chun crícheanna agus do réir bhrí Achtanna 1926 agus 1928.

(2) Pé uair a dhéanfaidh an tAire Rialtais Áitiúla agus Sláinte Puiblí ordú fén bhfo-alt deiridh sin roimhe seo den alt so beidh an cólucht, an t-údarás no an bord áitiúil, a hainmneofar agus a tuairisceofar san ordú san, ina údarás áitiúil, chun crícheanna agus do réir bhrí Achtanna 1926 agus 1928, faid a leanfaidh an t-ordú san i bhfeidhm agus fé réir aon leasuithe déanfar air, agus dá réir sin bainfidh na hAchtanna san le gach cólucht, údarás no bord den tsórt san.

(3) Féadfaidh an tAire Rialtais Áitiúla agus Sláinte Puiblí tráth ar bith, le hordú, aon ordú bheidh déanta aige roimhe sin fén alt so, le n-a n-áirmhítear ordú bheidh déanta fén bhfo-alt so, de cheiliúradh no do leasú.

4.—(1) Féadfar Acht na nUdarás nAitiúil (Comhar-Arachas), 1935, do ghairm den Acht so.

(2) Féadfar Achtanna na nUdarás nAitiúil (Comhar-Arachas), 1926 go 1935, do ghairm d'Achtanna 1926 agus 1928 agus den Acht so le chéile.

LOCAL AUTHORITIES (MUTUAL ASSURANCE) ACT, 1935.

Definition.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Acts of 1926 and 1928” means the Local Authorities (Mutual Assurance) Act, 1926 (No. 34 of 1926) and the Local Authorities (Mutual Assurance) Act, 1928 (No. 21 of 1928).

Extension of application of the Acts of 1926 and 1928.

2.—Every vocational education committee shall be and be deemed always to have been a local authority for the purposes and within the meaning of the Acts of 1926 and 1928, and those Acts shall apply and be deemed always to have applied to vocational education committees accordingly.

Extension by order of expression “local authority”.

3.—(1) The Minister for Local Government and Public Health may by order declare that any local body, authority or board named and described in such order shall be a local authority for the purposes and within the meaning of the Acts of 1926 and 1928.

(2) Whenever the Minister for Local Government and Public Health makes an order under the next preceding sub-section of this section, the local body, authority, or board named and described in such order shall, while such order remains in force and subject to any amendment thereof, be a local authority for the purposes and within the meaning of the Acts of 1926 and 1928 and, accordingly, those Acts shall apply to every such body, authority, or board.

(3) The Minister for Local Government and Public Health may at any time by order revoke or amend any order previously made by him under this section, including an order made under this sub-section.

Short title and citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Authorities (Mutual Assurance) Act, 1935.

(2) The Acts of 1926 and 1928 and this Act may be cited together as the Local Authorities (Mutual Assurance) Acts, 1926 to 1935.
