1.—San Acht so cialluíonn an focal “dall” duine is dall do réir bhrí an Blind Persons Act, 1920, mar a leasuítear san le hAcht na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1932 (Uimh. 18 de 1932).
Gan áird do thabhairt ar liúntaisí áirithe fén Blind Persons Act, 1920, nuair a bheidh acfuinn daill á háireamh.
2.—Nuair a bheidh acfuinn daill, le n-a n-íoctar liúntas do bhun scéime chun staid na ndall d'fheabhsú do hullamhuíodh fé alt 2 den Blind Persons Act, 1920, á háireamh chun crícheanna Achtanna na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1908 go 1932, ní tabharfar aon áird ar an gcuid sin (más aon chuid é) den liúntas san a híoctar leis an duine sin agus gur léir gur alos aon leinbh is cleithiúnaí air a híoctar í.

3.—(1) Féadfar Acht na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1938, do ghairm den Acht so.
(2) Léireofar an tAcht so mar éinní amháin le hAchtanna na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1908 go 1932, agus féadfar Achtanna na bPinsean Sean-Aoise, 1908 go 1938, do ghairm de sna hAchtanna san agus den Acht so le chéile.

OLD AGE PENSIONS ACT, 1938.
Definition.
1.—In this Act the expression “blind person” means a person who is a blind person within the meaning of the Blind Persons Act, 1920, as amended by the Old Age Pensions Act, 1932 (No. 18 of 1932).
Certain allowances under Blind Persons Act, 1920, not to be taken into account when calculating means of blind person.
2.—In calculating for the purposes of the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1932, the means of a blind person who is being paid an allowance in pursuance of a scheme for promoting the welfare of the blind prepared under section 2 of the Blind Persons Act, 1920, no account shall be taken of such portion (if any) of such allowance as is paid to such person expressly in respect of any child who is dependent on him.
Short title, construction and citation.
3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Old Age Pensions Act, 1938.
(2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1932, and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Old Age Pensions Acts, 1908 to 1938.
