An Príomh-Acht.

1.—San Acht so cialluíonn an focal “an Príomh-Acht” an tAcht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht), 1924 (Uimh. 41 de 1924).

2.—(1) Athghairmtear leis seo fo-alt (1) d'alt 2 den Acht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht) (Leasú), 1925 (Uimh. 19 de 1925) agus ina ionad san achtuítear leis seo ná tabharfar aon urraíocht fé alt 1 den Phríomh-Acht tar éis an 31adh lá d'Iúl, 1927.

(2) Athghairmtear leis seo fo-alt (2) d'alt 2 den Acht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht) (Leasú), 1925, adubhradh, agus ina ionad san achtuítear leis seo ná deonfar aon iasacht agus ná tabharfar aon urraíocht fé alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht tar éis an 31adh lá d'Iúl, 1927.

Leasuithe ar an bPríomh-Acht maidir leis na suimeanna iomlána i gcás urraíochtaí agus iasachtaí.

3.—Léireofar an Príomh-Acht agus beidh éifeacht aige fé is dá ndintí—

(a) fo-alt (2) d'alt 1 de do leasú mar leanas, sé sin le rá, trid na focail “seacht gcéad agus caoga” do scriosa amach agus na focail “naoi gcéad” do chur isteach in ionad na bhfocal a scriostar amach amhlaidh, agus

(b) fo-alt (2) d'alt 2 dhe do leasú mar leanas, sé sin le rá, tríd na focail “dhá chéad agus caoga” do scriosa amach agus an focal “céad” do chur isteach in ionad na bhfocal a scriostar amach amhlaidh.

4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Iasachtaí Trádála (Urraíocht) (Leasú), 1926, do ghairm den Acht so.

TRADE LOANS (GUARANTEE) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1926.

AN ACT TO EXTEND THE LIMIT OF TIME IMPOSED BY THE TRADE LOANS (GUARANTEE) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1925, ON THE GIVING OF GUARANTEES AND THE MAKING OF LOANS UNDER THE TRADE LOANS (GUARANTEE) ACT, 1924, AND TO MODIFY THE AGGREGATE CAPITAL AMOUNTS IN RESPECT OF WHICH GUARANTEES MAY BE GIVEN AND OF THE LOANS WHICH MAY BE MADE UNDER THE LAST-MENTIONED ACT. [17th July, 1926.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— [GA]

The Principal Act.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Act, 1924 (No. 41 of 1924).

Extension of time for guarantee under Principal Act.

2.—(1) Sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1925 (No. 19 of 1925), is hereby repealed and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that no guarantee shall be given under section 1 of the Principal Act after the 31st day of July, 1927.

(2) Sub-section (2) of section 2 of the said Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1925, is hereby repealed, and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that no loan shall be granted and no guarantee shall be given under section 2 of the Principal Act after the 31st day of July, 1927.

Amendments of Principal Act in respect of the aggregate amounts in the case of guarantees and loans.

3.—The Principal Act shall be construed and have effect as if—

(a) sub-section (2) of section 1 thereof were amended as follows, that is to say, by the deletion of the words “seven hundred and fifty” and the insertion in lieu of the words so deleted of the words “nine hundred,” and

[GA]

(b) sub-section (2) of section 2 thereof were amended as follows, that is to say, by the deletion of the words “two hundred and fifty” and the insertion in lieu of the words so deleted of the words “one hundred.”

Short Title and citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1926.

(2) The Principal Act, the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1925, and this Act may be cited together as the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924 to 1926.
