ACHT DOCHTÚIREACHTA, 1925.

Cirt, etc., daoine cláruithe agus údarásanna clárathachta fé sna hAchtanna Dochtúireachta.
1.—(1) Gach duine atá cláruithe fé sna hAchtanna Dochtúireachta (pe'ca roimh rith an Achta so no dá éis sin a cuireadh ar an gclár é) beidh aige i Saorstát Éireann na cirt, na príbhléidí, agus na saoirsí céanna a bhí ag daoine a bhí cláruithe amhlaidh in Éirinn roimh bhunú Shaorstáit Éireann agus beidh sé fé sna hoblagáidí céanna fé n-a rabhdar san.
(2) Gach comhacht agus údarás den tsórt a bhí ag an bPríomh-Chomhairle agus ag á n-oifigigh agus a fhéadfidís a fheidhmiú, roimh bhunú Shaorstáit Éireann, fé sna hAchtanna Dochtúireachta maidir le daoine agus nithe in Éirinn, beid ag an bPríomh-Chomhairle agus ag á n-oifigigh agus féadfid iad d'fheidhmiú fé sna hAchtanna san maidir le daoine agus nithe i Saorstát Éireann.
(3) Na comhacta agus na húdaráis den tsórt a bhí ag Comhairle Bhrainse na hÉireann agus ag á n-oifigigh agus a fhéadfidís a fheidhmiú, roimh bhunú Shaorstáit Éireann, fé sna hAchtanna Dochtúireachta maidir le daoine agus nithe in Éirinn, beid ag an gComhairle sin agus ag á n-oifigigh agus féadfid iad d'fheidhmiú fé sna hAchtanna san maidir le daoine agus nithe i Saorstát Éireann.
Beidh códhéanamh na gcomhairlí agus na cáilíochta clárathachta mar atáid go dtí so.
2.—(1) Leanfar den Phríomh-Chomhairle agus de Chomhairle Bhrainse na hÉireann fé seach do chó-dhéanamh agus leanfar dá mbaill d'ainmniú, do roghnú, agus do thogha ar an gcuma gcéanna ina ndintí na Comhairlí agus na baill sin fé seach do chó-dhéanamh, d'ainimiú, do roghnú, agus do thogha roimh bhunú Shaorstáit Éireann
(2) Leanfidh ag Príomh-scoileanna agus ag corporáidí dochtúireachta i Saorstát Éireann na comhachta céanna a bhí acu fé seach roimh bhunú Shaorstáit Éireann chun árd-teistisí do dheona agus chun scrúduithe tástála do bheith acu i gcóir clárú fé sna hAchtanna Dochtúireachta.
Éifeacht na nAchtanna Dochtúireachta i Saorstát Éireann.
3.—Beidh éifeacht ag na hAchtanna Dochtúireachta i Saorstát Éireann fé réir agus do réir forálacha an Achta so.

4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Dochtúireachta, 1925, do ghairm den Acht so.
(2) Léireofar an tAcht so mar éinní amháin leis na hAchtanna Dochtúireachta agus féadfar na hAchtanna Dochtúireachta do ghairm de sna hAchtanna san agus den Acht so le chéile.
(3) Leanfidh an tAcht so i bhfeidhm go ceann bliana o am a rithte agus raghaidh sé in éag ansan.

MEDICAL ACT, 1925.
Rights, etc., of persons registered and of registration authorities under Medical Acts.
1.—(1) All persons registered under the Medical Acts (whether admitted to the register before or after the passing of this Act) shall in Saorstát Eireann have the like rights, privileges, and immunities and be subject to the like obligations as persons so registered had and were subject to in Ireland prior to the establishment of Saorstát Eireann.
(2) The General Council and its officers shall have and may exercise in relation to persons and matters in Saorstát Eireann all the like powers, jurisdictions, and authorities under the Medical Acts as that Council and its officers prior to the establishment of Saorstát Eireann had and might exercise under these Acts in relation to persons and matters in Ireland.
(3) The Branch Council for Ireland and its officers shall have and may exercise in relation to persons and matters in Saorstát Eireann the like powers, jurisdictions, and authorities under the Medical Acts as that Branch Council and its officers prior to the establishment of Saorstát Eireann had and might exercise under those Acts in relation to persons and matters in Ireland.
Continuance of constitution of councils and of qualifications for registration.
2.—(1) The General Council and the Branch Council for Ireland shall respectively continue to be constituted and the members thereof shall continue to be nominated, chosen, and elected in like manner as those Councils and members respectively were constituted, nominated, chosen, and elected prior to the establishment of Saorstát Eireann.
(2) Universities and medical corporations in Saorstát Eireann shall continue to have the like powers of granting diplomas and holding qualifying examinations for registration under the Medical Acts as they respectively had prior to the establishment of Saorstát Eireann.
Effect of Medical Acts in Saorstát Eireann.
3.—The Medical Acts shall have effect in Saorstát Eireann subject to and in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
Short title, construction, citation, and duration.
4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Medical Act, 1925.
(2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Medical Acts, and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Medical Acts.
(3) This Act shall continue in force for one year from the passing thereof and shall then expire.
