AN tACHT UM CHUIDEACHTA FORBARTHA AERFORT NEAMHCHUSTAM NA SIONNA TEORANTA (LEASÚ), 1980

1.—San Acht seo—

ciallaíonn “Acht 1978” an tAcht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta (Leasú), 1978;

ciallaíonn “an Chuideachta” Cuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta;

ciallaíonn “an Príomh-Acht” an tAcht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959.

Leasú ar alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht.

2.—Aisghairtear leis seo an méid sin d'alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht (arna leasú le halt 2 d'Acht 1978) a fhorálann nach mó ná £45,000,000 comhiomlán na suimeanna a fhéadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais a shuibscríobh faoin alt sin chun scaireanna sa Chuideachta a thógáil agus, ina ionad sin, achtaítear leis seo nach mó ná £80,000,000 comhiomlán na suimeanna a shuibscríobhfar amhlaidh.

3.—Aisghairtear leis seo alt 3 d'Acht 1978 agus, ina ionad sin, achtaítear leis seo nach mó ná £40,000,000 comhiomlán na ndeontas a thabharfar don Chuideachta faoi alt 8 den Phríomh-Acht agus alt 2 den Acht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta (Leasú), 1970.

Gearrtheideal agus comhlua.

4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta (Leasú), 1980, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959 go 1980, a ghairm de na hAchtanna um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959 go 1978, agus den Acht seo le chéile.

ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS

SHANNON FREE AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMITED (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1980

Interpretation.

1.—In this Act—

“the Act of 1978” means the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1978;

“the Company” means the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited;

“the Principal Act” means the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Act, 1959.

Amendment of section 2 of Principal Act.

2.—So much of section 2 of the Principal Act (as amended by section 2 of the Act of 1978) as provides that the aggregate of the amounts which the Minister for Finance may subscribe under that section in taking up shares of the Company shall not exceed £45,000,000 is hereby repealed and, in lieu thereof, it is hereby enacted that the aggregate of the amounts so subscribed shall not exceed £80,000,000.

Amendment of section 8 of Principal Act and section 2 of Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1970.

3.—Section 3 of the Act of 1978 is hereby repealed and, in lieu thereof, it is hereby enacted that the aggregate amount of grants to be made to the Company under section 8 of the Principal Act and section 2 of the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1970, shall not exceed £40,000,000.

Short title and collective citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1980.

(2) The Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Acts, 1959 to 1978, and this Act may be cited together as the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Acts, 1959 to 1980.
