ACHT NA dTITHE (FORÁLACHA AIRGID AGUS FORÁLACHA ILGHNÉITHEACHA) (LEASÚ), 1934.

1.—San Acht so cialluíonn an abairt “an Príomh-Acht” Acht na dTithe (Forálacha Airgid agus Forálacha Ilghnéitheacha), 1932 (Uimh. 19 de 1932).

2.—Deintear leis seo fo-alt (1) d'alt 5 den Phríomh-Acht do leasú sna slite seo leanas, sé sin le rá:—

(a) an tagairt don 1adh lá d'Abrán, 1935, atá i bhfo-mhír (iii) de mhír (b) léireofar í mar thagairt don 1adh lá d'Abrán, 1936;

(b) cuirfear isteach, i ndiaidh na fo-mhíre sin (iii) de mhír (b), fo-mhír nua mar leanas, sé sin le rá:—

“(iv) cúig púint is dachad, más rud é gur ar an 12adh lá de Bhealtaine, 1932, no dá éis sin a tosnuíodh no a tosnófar ar thógáil an tighe sin agus go mbeidh sí críochnuithe an 1adh lá d'Abrán, 1936, no dá éis, ach roimh an 1adh lá d'Abrán, 1937”;

(c) an tagairt atá i ngach ceann de sna míreanna (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h) agus (i) don 1adh lá d'Abrán, 1935, léireofar í mar thagairt don 1adh lá d'Abrán, 1937,

agus déanfar an fo-alt san do léiriú agus beidh éifeacht aige dá réir sin.

Méid iomlán na ndeontas do mhéadú.

3.—Athghairmtear leis seo fo-alt (5) d'alt 5 den Phríomh-Acht agus ina ionad san achtuítear leis seo ná raghaidh méideanna iomlána na ndeontas a dheonfaidh an tAire Rialtais Áitiúla agus Sláinte Puiblí fén alt san 5 fé mar a leasuítear é leis an Acht so, ná raghaidh san thar suim milleoin agus ceithre chéad míle púnt.

4.—(1) Féadfar Acht na dTithe (Forálacha Airgid agus Forálacha Ilghnéitheacha) (Leasú), 1934, do ghairm den Acht so.

(2) Féadfar Achtanna na dTithe (Forálacha Airgid agus Forálacha Ilghnéitheacha), 1932 agus 1934, do ghairm den Phríomh-Acht agus den Acht so le chéile.

HOUSING (FINANCIAL AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1934.

HOUSING (FINANCIAL AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1934.

Definition.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1932 (No. 19 of 1932).

Amendment of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Principal Act.

2.—Sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Principal Act is hereby amended in the following respects, that is to say:—

(a) the reference to the 1st day of April, 1935, contained in sub-paragraph (iii) of paragraph (b) shall be construed as a reference to the 1st day of April, 1936;

(b) after the said sub-paragraph (iii) of paragraph (b) there shall be inserted a new sub-paragraph as follows, that is to say:—

“(iv) forty-five pounds, if the erection of such house shall have been commenced on or after the 12th day of May, 1932, and shall have been completed on or after the 1st day of April, 1936, but before the 1st day of April, 1937”;

(c) the reference to the 1st day of April, 1935, contained in each of paragraphs (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h) and (i) shall be construed as a reference to the 1st day of April, 1937,

and the said sub-section shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

Increase of limit of grants.

3.—Sub-section (5) of section 5 of the Principal Act is hereby repealed and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that the aggregate amounts of grants to be made by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health under the said section 5 as amended by this Act shall not exceed the sum of one million, four hundred thousand pounds.

Short title and citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Act, 1934.

(2) The Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Acts, 1932 and 1934.
