Pinsean a dheonadh do bhaintreach Thoirdealbhaigh Mhic Shuibhne.

1.—(1) Íocfaidh an tAire Cosanta, as airgead a sholáthrós an tOireachtas, pinsean bliantúil (dá ngairmtear an pinsean san alt seo) de chúig chéad punt ar feadh a saoil le Muirgheal, baintreach Thoirdealbhaigh Mhic Shuibhne.

(2) Measfar an pinsean a thosnú ar an 21ú lá de Mheán Fómhair, 1950, agus íocfar, a luaithe is féidir tar éis an tAcht seo a rith, an méid a bheas faibhrithe ina leith in aghaidh na tréimhse dar thosach an 21ú lá sin de Mheán Fómhair, 1950, agus dar chríoch dáta an Achta seo a rith.

(3) Aon mhéid a fhaibhreos chun bheith dlite tar éis dáta an Achta seo a rith íocfar é in aghaidh an mhí i ndiaidh láimhe.

(2)—Féadfar Acht Mhic Shuibhne (Pinsean), 1950, a ghairm den Acht seo.

MacSWINEY (PENSION) ACT, 1950.

Grant of pension to widow of Terence MacSwiney.

1.—(1) There shall be paid by the Minister for Defence, out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas, to Mrs. Muriel MacSwiney, widow of Terence MacSwiney, an annual pension (in this section referred to as the pension) of five hundred pounds during her life.

(2) The pension shall be deemed to have commenced on the 21st day of September, 1950, and there shall be paid, as soon as may be after the passing of this Act, the amount accrued thereon in respect of the period which commenced on the said 21st day of September, 1950, and ended on the date of the passing of this Act.

(3) Any amount which accrues due after the date of the passing of this Act shall be paid monthly in arrear.

Short title.

2.—This Act may be cited as the MacSwiney (Pension) Act, 1950.
