1.—(1) Deintear leis seo fo-alt (1) d'alt 5 d'Acht na dTithe (Forálacha Airgid agus Forálacha Ilghnéitheacha), 1932 (Uimh. 19 de 1932), do leasú sna slite seo leanas agus léireofar an t-alt san agus beidh éifeacht aige dá réir sin, sé sin le rá:—
(a) déanfar an tagairt don ladh lá d'Abrán, 1935, atá i ngach ceann de sna míreanna (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), agus (h) den fho-alt san (1) do léiriú mar thagairt don ladh lá d'Abrán, 1941;
(b) déanfar gach tagairt fé leith don ladh lá d'Abrán, 1940, atá i mír (j) den fho-alt san (1) (eadhon, an mhír do cuireadh isteach tré mhír (c) d'alt 2 d'Acht na dTithe (Leasú), 1939 (Uimh. 3 de 1939)), do léiriú mar thagairt don ladh lá d'Abrán, 1941.
(2) Athghairmtear leis seo mír (a) d'alt 2 d'Acht na dTithe (Leasú), 1939 (Uimh. 3 de 1939).
(3) Beidh an t-alt so fé mar a bheadh éifeacht aige, agus is tuigthe éifeacht do bheith aige, ar an ladh lá d'Abrán, 1940, agus ón lá san amach.

HOUSING (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1940.
Amendment of sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1932.
1.—(1) Sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1932 (No. 19 of 1932), is hereby amended in the following respects and the said section shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say:—
(a) the reference to the 1st day of April, 1935, contained in each of the paragraphs (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), and (h) of the said sub-section (1) shall be construed as a reference to the 1st day of April, 1941;
(b) each of the references to the 1st day of April, 1940, contained in paragraph (j) of the said sub-section (1) (being the paragraph inserted by paragraph (c) of section 2 of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 3 of 1939)), shall be construed as a reference to the 1st day of April, 1941.
(2) Paragraph (a) of section 2 of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 3 of 1939), is hereby repealed.
(3) This section shall have and be deemed to have had effect as on and from the 1st day of April, 1940.
Short title and collective citation.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1940.
(2) The Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Acts, 1932 to 1939, and this Act may be cited together as the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Acts, 1932 to 1940.
