ACHT UM AER-LOINGSEOIREACHT AGUS AER-IOMPAR (LEASÚ), 1942.

An Príomh-Acht.
1.—San Acht so cialluíonn an abairt “an Príomh-Acht” an tAcht um Aer-Loingseoireacht agus Aer-Iompar, 1936 (Uimh. 40 de 1936).
Alt 79 den Phríomh-Acht do leasú.
2.—Déanfar alt 79 (a bhaineann le conganta airgid) den Phríomh-Acht do léiriú agus beidh éifeacht aige—
(a) fé is da gcuirtí an fo-alt so leanas isteach ann in ionad fo-ailt (2), sé sin le rá:—
“(2) Gach ordú déanfar fén alt so leagfar fé bhráid gach Tighe den Oireachtas é chó luath agus is féidir tar éis a dhéanta agus má dhéanann ceachtar Tigh aca san, fé cheann an lá is fiche shuidhfidh an Tigh sin tar éis an orduithe sin do leagadh fé n-a bhráid, rún do rith ag cur an orduithe sin ar nea-mbrí, beidh an t-ordú san curtha ar nea-mbrí dá réir sin, ach beidh san gan dochar do bhailíocht éinní do rinneadh roimhe sin fén ordú san.”; agus
(b) fé is dá ndéantaí tagairt do chúig bliana o dháta an Achta so do rith do chur in ionad na tagairte atá i bhfo-alt (3) do chúig bliana o dháta an Phríomh-Achta do rith; agus
(c) fé is dá gcuirtí an fo-alt so leanas isteach ann in ionad fo-ailt (4), sé sin le rá:—
“(4) Íocfar as airgead a sholáthróidh an tOireachtas aon airgead is gá chun íoctha an chonganta airgid a luadhfar in ordú déanfar fén alt so.”.

AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1942.
The Principal Act.
1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (No. 40 of 1936).
Amendment of section 79 of the Principal Act.
2.—Section 79 (which relates to subsidies) of the Principal Act shall be construed and have effect—
(a) as if the following sub-section were inserted therein in lieu of sub-section (2), that is to say :—
“(2) Every order made under this section shall be laid before each House of the Oireachtas as soon as may be after it is made, and if a resolution annulling such order is passed by either such House within the next subsequent twenty-one days on which such House has sat after such order is laid before it, such order shall be annulled accordingly but without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under such order.”; and
(b) as if for the reference in sub-section (3) to five years from the date of the passing of the Principal Act there were substituted a reference to five years from the date of the passing of this Act; and
(c) as if the following sub-section were inserted therein in lieu of sub-section (4), that is to say :—
“(4) Any moneys required for the payment of the subsidy specified in an order made under this section shall be paid out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas.”.
Short title and collective citation.
3.—This Act may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport (Amendment) Act, 1942, and the Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the Air Navigation and Transport Acts, 1936 and 1942.
