1.—Déantar leis seo an téarma oifige atá á chaitheamh tráth an Achta seo a rith ag comhaltaí na Príomh-Chomhairle Banaltrais d'fhaidiú go dtí pé lá a shocrós an tAire Sláinte le hordú.

Gearrtheideal agus comhlua.

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Chlárú Banaltran, 1948, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Féadfar na hAchta um Chlárú Banaltran, 1919 agus 1948, a ghairm den Nurses Registration (Ireland) Act, 1919, agus den Acht seo le chéile.

NURSES REGISTRATION ACT, 1948.

Extension of current term of office.

1.—The term of office of members of the General Nursing Council which is current at the passing of this Act is hereby extended until such day as may be fixed by the Minister for Health by order.

Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Nurses Registration Act, 1948.

(2) The Nurses Registration (Ireland) Act, 1919, and this Act may be cited together as the Nurses Registration Acts, 1919 and 1948.
