ACHT CISTE NA nIASACHT ÁITIÚLA (LEASÚ), 1953.

Méadú ar an méid airgid is ineisithe as ciste na n-iasacht áitiúla.

1.—Athghairmtear leis seo alt 1 d'Acht Ciste na nIasacht Áitiúla (Leasú), 1951 (Uimh. 18 de 1951), agus ina ionad sin achtaítear leis seo nach raghaidh méid iomlán an airgid a heiseofar as ciste na n-iasacht áitiúla i leith iasacht áitiúla i rith na tréimhse a luaitear i bhfo-alt (3) d'alt 4 d'Acht Ciste na nIasacht Áitiúla, 1935 (Uimh. 16 de 1935), thar suim seachtó milliún punt.

Suimeanna áirithe a dhíscríobh.

2.—(1) Déanfar na méideanna i leith príomhshuime agus úis a sonraítear sa Sceideal a ghabhas leis an Acht seo ag aon uimhir thagartha a dhíscríobh de shócmhainní ciste na n-iasacht áitiúla.

(2) D'ainneoin fo-ailt (3) d'alt 14 d'Acht Ciste na nIasacht Áitiúla, 1935 (Uimh. 16 de 1935), i gcás méideanna a dhíscríobh de bhun an ailt seo scoirfidh dliteanas aon duine chun na méideanna sin agus an t-ús pionósach a dlitear ina leith d'íoc.

(3) Measfar, maidir leis na méideanna a sonraítear sa Sceideal a ghabhas leis an Acht seo ag aon uimhir thagartha, an t-alt seo a theacht i ngníomh ar an dáta a sonraítear ag an uimhir thagartha sin.

Gearrtheideal agus comhlua.

3.—(1) Féadfar Acht Ciste na nIasacht Áitiúla (Leasú), 1953, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Féadfar Achta Ciste na nIasacht Áitiúla, 1935 go 1953, a ghairm d'Achta Ciste na nIasacht Áitiúla, 1935 go 1951, d'alt 3 den Acht Airgeadais (Forála Ilghnéitheacha), 1945 (Uimh. 35 de 1945), agus den Acht seo le chéile.

LOCAL LOANS FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1953.

Increase of limit on issues from the local loans fund.

1.—Section 1 of the Local Loans Fund (Amendment) Act, 1951 (No. 18 of 1951), is hereby repealed and in lieu thereof it is hereby enacted that the aggregate amount of the moneys issued from the local loans fund in respect of local loans during the period mentioned in subsection (3) of section 4 of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935), shall not exceed the sum of seventy million pounds.

Writing off of certain amounts.

2.—(1) The amounts of principal and interest specified in the Schedule to this Act at any reference number shall be written off the assets of the local loans fund.

(2) Notwithstanding subsection (3) of section 14 of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935), where amounts are written off pursuant to this section, the liability of any person to pay the amounts and penal interest due in respect thereof shall cease.

(3) This section shall, in relation to the amounts specified in the Schedule to this Act at any reference number, be deemed to have come into operation on the date specified at that reference number.

Short title and collective citation.

3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Loans Fund (Amendment) Act, 1953.

(2) The Local Loans Fund Acts, 1935 to 1951, section 3 of the Finance (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1945 (No. 35 of 1945), and this Act may be cited together as the Local Loans Fund Acts, 1935 to 1953.
