INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1971

AN ACT TO ENABLE ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS NOT EXCEEDING A SPECIFIED TOTAL AMOUNT TO BE MADE ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT TO THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION. [15th December, 1971.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: [GA]

Amendment of section 3 of International Development Association Act, 1960.

1.—Section 3 (2) of the International Development Association Act, 1960, is hereby amended by the insertion after paragraph (c) of the following paragraph:

“(cc) payments to the Association not exceeding in aggregate the equivalent in Irish currency of 4 million United States dollars of the weight and fineness in effect on the 1st day of January, 1960, in accordance with any arrangements made between the Government and the Association arising out of any Resolution of the Board of Governors of the Association on additional financial resources,”.

Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the International Development Association (Amendment) Act, 1971.

(2) The International Development Association Act, 1960, and this Act may be cited together as the International Development Association Acts, 1960 and 1971.
