Leasú ar alt 28 den Acht um Iocaíochtaí Iomarcaíochta, 1967.
1.—Leasaítear leis seo alt 28 den Acht um Iocaíochtaí Iomarcaíochta, 1967, a shonraíonn méid na ranníocaí seachtainiúla isteach sa Chiste Iomarcaíochta, tríd an bhfo-alt nua seo a leanas a chur isteach i ndiaidh fho-alt (3):
“(3A) D'ainneoin aon ní in alt 27 nó san alt seo den Acht seo, ní bheidh ranníoc iomarcaíochta iníoctha ag ranníocóir fostaithe (de réir brí an Achta Leasa Shóisialaigh, 1952) a bhfuil pinsean, baintrí (ranníocach), pinsean baintrí (neamhranníocach), sochar banchéile thréigthe, liúntas banchéile thréigthe nó liúntas cúnaimh shóisialaigh faoi alt 8 den Acht Leasa Shóisialaigh, 1973, á fháil aici.”.

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Iocaíochtaí Iomarcaíochta, 1973, a ghairm den Acht seo.
(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna um Iocaíochtaí Iomarcaíochta, 1967 go 1973, a ghairm de na hAchtanna um Iocaíochtaí Iomarcaíochta, 1967 agus 1971, agus den Acht seo le chéile.
(3) Tiocfaidh an tAcht seo i ngníomh cibé lá a cheapfaidh an tAire le hordú.

REDUNDANCY PAYMENTS ACT, 1973
Amendment of section 28 of Redundancy Payments Act, 1967.
1.—Section 28 of the Redundancy Payments Act, 1967, which specifies the amount of weekly contributions to the Redundancy Fund, is hereby amended by the insertion after subsection (3) of the following new subsection:
“(3A) Notwithstanding anything in section 27 or this section of this Act, a redundancy contribution shall not be payable by an employed contributor (within the meaning of the Social Welfare Act, 1952) who is in receipt of a widow's (contributory) pension, a widow's (non-contributory) pension, deserted wife's benefit, a deserted wife's allowance or a social assistance allowance under section 8 of the Social Welfare Act, 1973.”.
Short title, collective citation and commencement.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Redundancy Payments Act, 1973.
(2) The Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 and 1971, and this Act may be cited together as the Redundancy Payments Acts, 1967 to 1973.
(3) This Act shall come into operation on such day as the Minister appoints by order.
