1.—In ainneoin éinní contrárdha dho san atá san Acht Ghárda Síochána (Aitribh do Sholáthar) (Leasú), 1924 (Uimh. 23 de 1924), beidh an chomhacht chun áitribh do thógaint, maraon leis na fo-chomhachta a ghabhann léi, nithe a bronnadh ar Choimisinéirí na nOibreacha Puiblí in Éirinn leis an Acht Ghárda Síochána (Aitribh do Sholáthar), 1923 (Uimh. 24 de 1923), beid infheidhmithe, fé réir forálacha eile an Achta san, go dtí an 16adh lá d'Iúl, 1926, agus go dtí san amháin.

AN ACT TO EXTEND FURTHER THE TIME DURING WHICH CERTAIN POWERS CONFERRED ON THE COMMISSIONERS OF PUBLIC WORKS IN IRELAND BY THE CIVIC GUARD (ACQUISITION OF PREMISES) ACT, 1923, MAY BE EXERCISED. [6th June, 1925.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— [GA]

Extension of time for exercise of powers.

1.—Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Civic Guard (Acquisition of Premises) (Amendment) Act, 1924 (No. 23 of 1924), the power of acquiring premises and the powers ancillary thereto conferred on the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland by the Civic Guard (Acquisition of Premises) Act, 1923 (No. 24 of 1923), shall, subject to the other provisions of that Act, be exercisable until the 16th day of July, 1926, and no longer.

Short title and citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Civic Guard (Acquisition of Premises) (Amendment) Act, 1925.

(2) The Civic Guard (Acquisition of Premises) Acts, 1923 and 1924 and this Act may be cited together as the Civic Guard (Acquisition of Premises) Acts, 1923 to 1925.
