An tAcht Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1940, do leasú.

1.—(1) Déantar leis seo fo-alt (1) d'alt 1 den Acht Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1940 (Uimh. 8 de 1940), arna leasú leis an Acht Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1943 (Uimh. 6 de 1943), do leasú tuilleadh mar leanas:—

(a) déanfar an tagairt atá sa mhíniú ar an abairt “an tréimhse ordaithe” don 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1945, do léiriú mar thagairt don 31ú lá de Mhárta, 1946 ;

(b) déanfar gach tagairt atá i míreanna (a) go (f) den mhíniú ar an abairt “áit chomhnaithe” do shreath Acht do léiriú mar thagairt a fholaíos tagairt do gach Acht arna rith ina dhiaidh sin (pé acu roimh an Acht so nó dá éis é) ag leasú na sreatha Acht san.

(2) Is tuigthe fo-alt (1) den alt so do theacht i ngníomh ar theacht i ngníomh don Acht Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1940 (Uimh. 8 de 1940).

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1945, do ghairm den Acht so.

(2) Féadfar na hAchta Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1940 go 1945, do ghairm de na hAchta Rialtais Áitiúil (Rátaí do Mhaitheamh), 1940 agus 1943, agus den Acht so le chéile.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (REMISSION OF RATES) ACT, 1945.

Amendment of Local Government (Remission of Rates) Act, 1940.

1.—(1) Subsection (1) of section 1 of the Local Government (Remission of Rates) Act, 1940 (No. 8 of 1940), as amended by the Local Government (Remission of Rates) Act, 1943 (No. 6 of 1943), is hereby further amended as follows:—

(a) the reference in the definition of the expression “the prescribed period” to the 31st day of March, 1945, shall be construed as a reference to the 31st day of March, 1946;

(b) each reference in paragraphs (a) to (f) of the definition of the word “residence” to a series of Acts shall be construed as including a reference to every subsequent Act (whether passed before or after this present Act) amending such series of Acts.

(2) Subsection (1) of this section shall be deemed to have come into operation upon the coming into operation of the Local Government (Remission of Rates) Act, 1940 (No. 8 of 1940).

Short title and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Remission of Rates) Act, 1945.

(2) The Local Government (Remission of Rates) Acts, 1940 and 1943, and this Act may be cited together as the Local Government (Remission of Rates) Acts, 1940 to 1945.
