1.—San Acht seo—
ciallaíonn “an Chuideachta” Aer Rianta, Teoranta, is é sin, an chuideachta a bunaíodh de bhun ailt 68 den Phríomh-Acht;
ciallaíonn “an Príomh-Acht” an tAcht um Aerloingseoireacht agus Aeriompar, 1936.
Caipiteal na Cuideachta a mhéadú.
2.—Déantar leis seo fo-alt (1) d'alt 21 den Acht Aerloingseoireachta agus Aeriompair, 1946, a leasú trí “£10,000,000 (deich milliún punt) arna roinnt ina dheich milliún scaireanna de phunt an ceann” a chur in ionad “£2,000,000 (dhá mhilliún punt) arna roinnt ina dhá mhilliún scaireanna de phunt an ceann”, agus déanfar aon tagairt i gCuid IV den Acht sin don alt sin 21 a fhorléiriú mar thagairt a fholaíonn tagairt don alt sin arna leasú leis an alt seo.
Srian leis an Stát do ráthú bintiúirí na Cuideachta.
3.—Ní dhéanfar an chumhacht a thugtar don Aire Airgeadais le halt 75 den Phríomh-Acht chun ráthaíochtaí a thabhairt i leith bintiúirí a eiseoidh an Chuideachta a fheidhmiú ar shlí gur mó ná £5,000,000 (cúig mhilliún punt) an méid iomlán airgid phríomhshuime a mbeidh a chuí-íoc ráthaithe tráth ar bith de bhun an ailt sin.
Gearrtheideal agus comhlua.
4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Aerloingseoireachta agus Aeriompair (Uimh. 2), 1959, a ghairm den Acht seo.
(2) Folóidh an comhlua na hAchtanna Aerloingseoireachta agus Aeriompair, 1936 go 1959, an tAcht seo.

AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT (No. 2) ACT, 1959.
Interpretation.
1.—In this Act—
“the Company” means Aer Rianta, Teoranta, being the company formed in pursuance of section 68 of the Principal Act;
“the Principal Act” means the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936.
Increase of capital of the Company.
2.—Subsection (1) of section 21 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1946, is hereby amended by the substitution of “£10,000,000 (ten million pounds) divided into ten million shares of one pound each” for “£2,000,000 (two million pounds) divided into two million shares of one pound each”, and any reference in Part IV of that Act to the said section 21 shall be construed as including a reference to that section as amended by this section.
Restriction on State guarantee of debentures of the Company.
3.—The power to give guarantees with respect to debentures issued by the Company which is conferred on the Minister for Finance by section 75 of the Principal Act shall not be so exercised that the total amount of principal moneys the due payment of which stands at any time guaranteed pursuant to that section exceeds £5,000,000 (five million pounds).
Short title and collective citation.
4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport (No. 2) Act, 1959.
(2) The collective citation the Air Navigation and Transport Acts, 1936 to 1959, shall include this Act.
