Toghacháin chimeádaithe iascaigh do chur ar ath-ló.

1.—(1) Féadfidh an tAire Iascaigh le hordú, más gá no más oiriúnach é, dar leis, gach ceann no aon cheann de sna toghacháin reachtúla cimeádaithe iascaigh, a bheadh ann sa bhliain 1924 mara mbeadh an tAcht so, do chur ar ath-ló go dtí pé dáta a cheapfidh an tAire sin, leis an ordú san, ach gan an dáta san do bheith níos déanaí ná an 31adh lá de Mhí na Nodlag, 1925.

(2) Féadfar orduithe fé leith do dhéanamh amannta difriúla fén alt so chun toghacháin reachtúla bordanna cimeádaithe difriúla do chur ar ath-ló agus féadfar dátaí difriúla do cheapa chun na toghacháin sin a cuireadh ar ath-ló do chomóra, agus aon toghachán a cuirfar ar ath-ló le hordú fén alt so féadfar é chur ar ath-ló arís le horduithe eile ina dhiaidh sin.

Faidiú téarma oifige na seanachimeádaithe.

2.—Má cuirtear toghachán ballra aon bhúird cimeádaithe iascaigh ar ath-ló le hordú a déanfar fén Acht so, beidh téarma oifige gach ball den bhord san a bheidh i seilbh oifige ar dháta an orduithe sin, beidh sé curtha i bhfaid agus dintar leis seo é chur i bhfaid go dtí an lá tar éis an dáta 'na gcuirfar an toghachán ar ath-ló go dtí é leis an ordú san no le haon ordú ina dhiaidh.

FISHERIES (ELECTION OF CONSERVATORS POSTPONEMENT) ACT, 1924.

AN ACT TO ENABLE THE STATUTORY ELECTIONS OF CONSERVATORS OF FISHERIES, WHICH ARE DUE TO BE HELD IN THE YEAR 1924, TO BE POSTPONED AND TO EXTEND THE TERM OF OFFICE OF EXISTING CONSERVATORS ACCORDINGLY. [1st August, 1924.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— [GA]

Postponement of elections of conservators of fisheries.

1.—(1) The Minister for Fisheries, if in his opinion it is necessary or expedient so to do, may by order postpone all or any of the statutory elections of conservators of fisheries which but for this Act would be held in the year 1924 until such date not being later than the 31st day of December, 1925, as the said Minister shall by such order appoint.

(2) Separate orders may be made at different times under this section for the postponement of the statutory elections of different boards of conservators and different dates may be appointed for the holding of such postponed elections, and any election which is postponed by an order under this section may be further postponed by subsequent orders.

Extension of term of office of existing conservators.

2.—Where the election of members of any board of conservators of fisheries is postponed by an order made under this Act, the term of office of all members of such board holding office at the date of such order shall be and is hereby extended to the day after the date to which such election is postponed by that or any subsequent order.

3.—This Act may be cited as the Fisheries (Election of Conservators Postponement) Act, 1924.
