Airleacain chun an Bhoird as an bPríomhchiste.
1.—(1) Déantar leis seo alt 53 den Acht Forbartha Móna, 1946, a leasú tríd an bhfo-alt seo a leanas a chur in ionad fo-ailt (1) (a cuireadh isteach ann le fo-alt (1) d'alt 2 den Acht Forbartha Móna, 1953) :
“(1) Chun a chumasú don Bhord a fheidhmeanna a fheidhmiú nó a chomhlíonadh, féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais, faoin alt seo agus ar mholadh an Aire, cibé suimeanna (nach mó san iomlán ná naoi milliún déag punt) a iarrfaidh an Bord ó am go ham a airleacan ó am go ham chun an Bhoird as an bPríomhchiste nó a thoradh fáis.”
(2) Athghairtear leis seo alt 2 den Acht Forbartha Móna, 1953.
Alt 1 den Acht Forbartha Móna, 1957, a leasú.
2.—Déantar leis seo alt 1 den Acht Forbartha Móna, 1957 (a bhaineann le cumhachtaí áirithe de chuid an Bhoird chun airgead a fháil ar iasacht) a leasú trí fho-alt (3) a scriosadh agus “naoi milliún déag punt” a chur in ionad “cheithre mhilliún déag punt” i bhfo-alt (4).
Gearrtheideal, forléiriú agus comhlua.
3.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Forbartha Móna, 1959, a ghairm den Acht seo.
(2) Forléireofar na hAchtanna Forbartha Móna, 1946 go 1958, agus an tAcht seo le chéile mar aon Acht amháin agus féadfar na hAchtanna Forbartha Móna, 1946 go 1959, a ghairm díobh le chéile.

TURF DEVELOPMENT ACT, 1959.
Advances to Board out of Central Fund.
1.—(1) Section 53 of the Turf Development Act, 1946, is hereby amended by the substitution for subsection (1) (inserted therein by subsection (1) of section 2 of the Turf Development Act, 1953) of the following subsection:
“(1) For the purpose of enabling the Board to exercise or perform its functions, the Minister for Finance may, under this section and on the recommendation of the Minister, advance from time to time to the Board, out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof, such sums (not exceeding in the aggregate nineteen million pounds) as the Board may from time to time request.”
(2) Section 2 of the Turf Development Act, 1953, is hereby repealed.
Amendment of section 1 of Turf Development Act, 1957.
2.—Section 1 of the Turf Development Act, 1957 (which relates to certain borrowing powers of the Board) is hereby amended by the deletion of subsection (3) and the substitution in subsection (4) of “nineteen million pounds ” for “fourteen million pounds”.
Short title, construction and collective citation.
3.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Turf Development Act, 1959.
(2) The Turf Development Acts, 1946 to 1958, and this Act shall be construed together as one Act and may be cited together as the Turf Development Acts, 1946 to 1959.
