TOURIST TRAFFIC ACT, 1968
Definition.
1.—In this Act “the Act of 1959” means the Tourist Traffic Act, 1959.
Increase of certain non-repayable grants to Bord Fáilte Éireann.
2.—The aggregate amount of the sums that the Minister for Transport and Power may pay to Bord Fáilte Éireann for the purpose of the giving of grants by Bord Fáilte Éireann for the development of holiday accommodation shall not exceed £5,500,000 and, accordingly, section 2 (1) (b) of the Act of 1959 shall be construed as if that sum were substituted for the sum of £3,000,000 mentioned therein and inserted by section 6 (1) (b) of the Tourist Traffic Act, 1966.
Repeal of section 2(4) of Act of 1959.
3.—Section 2 (4) of the Act of 1959 is hereby repealed.
Short title and collective citation.
4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Tourist Traffic Act, 1968.
(2) The Tourist Traffic Acts, 1939 to 1966, and this Act may be cited together as the Tourist Traffic Acts, 1939 to 1968.

2.—Ní rachaidh méiid comhiomlán na suimeanna a fhéadfaidh an tAire Iompair agus Cumhachta a íoc le Bord Fáilte Éireann chun Bord Fáilte Éireann do thabhairt deontais le haghaidh cóiríocht saoire a fhorbairt thar £5,500,000 agus, dá réir sin, déanfar alt 2 (1) (b) d'Acht 1959 a fhorléiriú ionann is dá gcuirfí an tsuim sin in ionad na suime £3,000,000 a luaitear sa mhír sin agus a cuireadh isteach le halt 6 (1) (b) den Acht um Thrácht Cuartaíochta, 1966.
