Mínithe.

1.—San Acht so—

cialluíonn an abairt “na Príomh-Achtanna” na Education (Provision of Meals) (Ireland) Acts, 1914 to 1917;

cialluíonn an focal “baile-choimisinéirí” na daoine is coimisinéirí, chun crícheanna an Towns Improvement (Ireland) Act, 1854, do bhaile nách bailecheanntar.

Bainfidh na Príomh-Achtanna le bailechoimisinéirí.

2.—Is údarás áitiuil baile-choimisinéirí chun crícheanna na bPríomh-Achtanna agus beidh feidhm ag na hAchtanna san dá réir sin.

Costaisí bailechoimisinéirí fé sna Príomh-Achtanna.

3.—Na costaisí uile fé n-a raghaidh baile-choimisinéirí fé sna Príomh-Achtanna mar a leathanuítear leis an Acht so iad, is amach as an ráta is inghearrtha acu fé alt 60 den Towns Improvement (Ireland) Act, 1854, a híocfar iad ach ní háireofar chun crícheanna aon teorann le méid an ráta san cuid ar bith den ráta san a cruinneofar chun na gcostas san d'íoc.

4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Oideachais (Béilí do Sholáthar) (Leasú), 1930, do ghairm den Acht so.

(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna Oideachais (Béilí do Sholáthar), 1914 go 1930, do ghairm de sna Príomh-Achtanna agus den Acht so le chéile.

EDUCATION (PROVISION OF MEALS) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1930.

Definitions.

1.—In this Act—

the expression “the Principal Acts” means the Education (Provision of Meals) (Ireland) Acts, 1914 to 1917;

the expression “town commissioners” means the commissioners for the purposes of the Towns Improvement (Ireland) Act, 1854, of a town which is not an urban district.

Application of the Principal Acts to town commissioners.

2.—Town commissioners shall be a local authority for the purposes of the Principal Acts and those Acts shall apply accordingly.

Expenses of town commissioners under the Principal Acts.

3.—All expenses incurred by town commissioners under the Principal Acts as extended by this Act shall be defrayed out of the rate leviable by them under section 60 of the Towns Improvement (Ireland) Act, 1854, but no portion of such rate raised to defray such expenses shall be reckoned for the purposes of any limitation on the amount of such rate.

Short title and citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Education (Provision of Meals) (Amendment) Act, 1930.

(2) The Principal Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Education (Provision of Meals) Acts, 1914 to 1930.
