SHANNON FREE AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMITED (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1986

Interpretation.

1.—(1) In this Act—

“the Act of 1983” means the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1983;

“the Company” means the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited;

“the Principal Act” means the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Act, 1959.

(2) The Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Acts, 1959 to 1983, and this Act shall be construed as one.

Amendment of section 2 of Principal Act.

2.—So much of section 2 of the Principal Act (as amended by section 2 of the Act of 1983) as provides that the aggregate of the amounts which the Minister for Finance may subscribe under that section in taking up shares of the Company shall not exceed £120,000,000 is hereby repealed and, in lieu thereof, it is hereby enacted that the aggregate of the amounts so subscribed shall not exceed £130,000,000.

Increase of grants under section 8 of Principal Act and section 2 of Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1970.

3.—Section 3 of the Act of 1983 is hereby repealed and, in lieu thereof, it is hereby enacted that the aggregate amount of grants to be made to the Company under section 8 of the Principal Act and section 2 of the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1970 (as amended by section 5 of the Act of 1983) shall not exceed £105,000,000.

Short title and collective citation.

4.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Act, 1986.

(2) The Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Acts, 1959 to 1983, and this Act may be cited together as the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited Acts, 1959 to 1986.

ciallaíonn “an Chuideachta” Cuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta;

ciallaíonn “an Príomh-Acht” an tAcht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959.

(2) Forléireofar na hAchtanna um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959 go 1983, agus an tAcht seo mar aon ní amháin.

Leasú ar alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht.

2.—Aisghairtear leis seo an méid sin d'alt 2 den Phríomh-Acht (arna leasú le halt 2 d'Acht 1983) a fhorálann nach mó ná £120,000,000 comhiomlán na suimeanna a fhéadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais a shuibscríobh faoin alt sin chun scaireanna sa Chuideachta a thógáil agus, ina ionad sin, achtaítear leis seo nach mó ná £130,000,000 comhiomlán na suimeanna a shuibscríobhfar amhlaidh.

Méadú ar dheontais faoi alt 8 den Phríomh-Acht agus faoi alt 2 den Acht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta (Leasú), 1970.

3.—Aisghairtear leis seo alt 3 d'Acht 1983 agus, ina ionad sin, achtaítear leis seo nach mó ná £105,000,000 comhiomlán na ndeontas a thabharfar don Chuideachta faoi alt 8 den Phríomh-Acht agus faoi alt 2 den Acht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta (Leasú), 1970 (arna leasú le halt 5 d'Acht 1983).

Gearrtheideal agus comhlua.

4.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta (Leasú), 1986, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959 go 1986, a ghairm de na hAchtanna um Chuideachta Forbartha Aerfort Neamhchustam na Sionna Teoranta, 1959 go 1983, agus den Acht seo, le chéile.
