ACHT LEICTREACHAIS (SOLÁTHAR) (LEASÚ), 1931

1.—San Acht so cialluíonn an abairt “an Príomh-Acht” an tAcht Leictreachais (Soláthar), 1927 (Uimh. 27 de 1927).

An Príomh-Acht agus an tAcht so do léiriú.

2.—Is mar aon Acht amháin a léighfear agus a léireofar an Príomh-Acht agus an tAcht so agus dá réir sin abairtí agus focail a húsáidtear san Acht so agus do húsáideadh sa Phríomh-Acht freisin tá na brigheanna céanna leo san Acht so atá leo fé seach sa Phríomh-Acht.

Roimh-iocanna breise leis an mBord.

3.—(1) I dteanta na suimeanna cheanglann alt 12 den Phríomh-Acht ar an Aire Airgid do roimh-íoc leis mBord, féadfaidh an tAire sin (fé réir na teorann a forchuirtear leis an alt so), fé mar iarrfaidh agus nuair iarrfaidh an Bord air é, gach suim a dheimhneoidh an tAire Tionnscail agus Tráchtála o am go ham do bheith ag teastáil go cóir réasúnta ón mBord chun aon chríche bhainfidh le feidhmiú a chuid feidhmeanna fé sna hAchtanna Leictreachais (Soláthar), 1927 go 1930, do roimh-íoc leis an mBord amach as an bPrímh-Chiste no as a thora fáis.

(2) Ní raghaidh méid iomlán na suimeanna roimh-íocfar leis an mBord fén alt so thar suim dhá mhilleon punt.

(3) Beidh feidhm ag fo-ailt (4) agus (5) d'alt 12 den Phríomh-Acht maidir le roimh-íocanna a híocfar leis an mBord fén alt so fé is dá mba fén alt san 12 do híocfaí na roimh-íocanna san.

(4) Gach roimh-íoc a híocfar leis an mBord fén alt so tuigfear, chun crícheanna altanna 13,14, agus 16 den Phríomh-Acht mar a leasuíodh iad le haon achtachán ina dhiaidh sin, gur fén bPríomh-Acht do híocadh é agus beidh feidhm ag na haltanna san, agus iad leasuithe amhlaidh, maidir leis na roimh-íocanna san dá réir sin.

5.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Leictreachais (Soláthar) (Leasú), 1931, do ghairm den Acht so.

(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna Leictreachais (Soláthar), 1927 go 1931, do ghairm de sna hAchtanna Leictreachais (Soláthar), 1927 go 1930, agus den Acht so le chéile.

ELECTRICITY (SUPPLY) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1931.

Definition.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1927 (No. 27 of 1927).

Construction of the Principal Act and this Act.

2.—The Principal Act and this Act shall be read and construed as one Act, and accordingly expressions and words used in this Act which were also used in the Principal Act have the same meanings in this Act as they respectively have in the Principal Act.

Additional advances to the Board.

3.—(1) In addition to the sums which the Minister for Finance is required by section 12 of the Principal Act to advance to the Board, the said Minister may (subject to the limitation imposed by this section) advance out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof to the Board, as and when requested so to do by the Board, all such sums as the Minister for Industry and Commerce shall from time to time certify to be reasonably and properly required by the Board for any purpose arising in the performance of its functions under the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1927 to 1930.

(2) The total amount of the sums advanced to the Board under this section shall not exceed the sum of two million pounds.

(3) Sub-sections (4) and (5) of section 12 of the Principal Act shall apply in relation to advances made to the Board under this section as if such advances were made under the said section 12.

(4) All advances made to the Board under this section shall, for the purposes of sections 13, 14, and 16 of the Principal Act as amended by any subsequent enactment, be deemed to be made under the Principal Act, and those sections as so amended shall apply in respect of such advances accordingly.

Payment to a former member of the Board.

4.—As soon as may be after the passing of this Act, the Board shall pay to Thomas A. MacLaughlin, lately a member of the Board, the sum of two thousand pounds.

Short title and citation.

5.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1931.

(2) The Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1927 to 1930, and this Act may be cited together as the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1927 to 1931.
