1.—(1) Leasaítear leis seo alt 2 (1) den Acht Talmhaíochta (Leasú), 1958, arna leasú le halt (1) den Acht Talmhaíochta (Leasú), 1964, trí “1970” agus “seacht n-oiread is fiche” a chur in ionad “1965” agus “oiread is fiche” faoi seach.
(2) Na gníomhartha agus na nithe go léir a rinne comhairle contae roimh an lú lá d'Aibreán, 1970, maidir le haon ráta a ghearradh don bhliain airgeadais áitiúil dar tosach an lá sin beidh siad chomh bailí éifeachtach agus dá mbeadh an tAcht seo i bhfeidhm an tráth a rinneadh na gníomhartha nó na nithe sin.
Gearrtheideal, comhlua agus tosach feidhme.
2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht Talmhaíochta (Leasú), 1970, a ghairm den Acht seo.
(2) Féadfar na hAchtanna Talmhaíochta, 1931 go 1970, a ghairm de na hAchtanna Talmhaíochta, 1931 go 1967, agus den Acht seo le chéile.
(3) Tiocfaidh an tAcht seo i ngníomh an lú lá d'Aibreán, 1970.

AGRICULTURE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1970
Amendment of section 2 (1) of the Agriculture (Amendment) Act, 1958.
1.—(1) Section 2 (1) of the Agriculture (Amendment) Act, 1958, as amended by section 1 of the Agriculture (Amendment) Act, 1964, is hereby amended by the substitution of “1970” and “twenty-seven” for “1965” and “twenty-one” respectively.
(2) All acts and things done before the 1st day of April, 1970, by the council of a county in relation to the making of any rate for the local financial year beginning on that day shall be as valid and effectual as if this Act had been in force at the time those acts or things were done.
Short title, collective citation and commencement.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Agriculture (Amendment) Act, 1970.
(2) The Agriculture Acts, 1931 to 1967, and this Act may be cited together as the Agriculture Acts, 1931 to 1970.
(3) This Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1970.
