Leasú ar Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach, 1972.
1.—Leasaítear leis seo Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach, 1972, trí na míreanna seo a leanas a chur isteach sa mhíniú ar “na conarthaí a rialaíonn na Comhphobail Eorpacha” in alt 1 (1), i ndiaidh mhír (i) (a cuireadh isteach le hAcht na gComhphobal Eorpach (Leasú), 1977):
“agus
(j) an Conradh i dtaobh aontachas na Poblachta Heilléanaí le Comhphobal Eacnamaíochta na hEorpa agus leis an gComhphobal Eorpach do Fhuinneamh Adamhach, a síníodh san Aithin an 28ú lá de Bhealtaine, 1979, agus
(k) cinneadh an 24ú lá de Bhealtaine, 1979, ó Chomhairle na gComhphobal Eorpach i dtaobh aontachas na Poblachta Heilléanaí leis an gComhphobal Eorpach do Ghual agus Cruach,”.

2.—(1) Féadfar Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach (Leasú), 1979, a ghairm den Acht seo.
(2) Féadfar Achtanna na gComhphobal Eorpach, 1972 go 1979, a ghairm d'Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach, 1972, d'Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach (Leasú), 1973, d'Acht na gComhphobal Eorpach (Leasú), 1977, agus den Acht seo le chéile.
(3) Tiocfaidh an tAcht seo i ngníomh cibé lá a cheapfaidh an tAire le hordú.

EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1979
BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:
Amendment of European Communities Act, 1972.
1.—The European Communities Act, 1972, is hereby amended by the insertion, in the definition of “the treaties governing the European Communities” in section 1 (1), after paragraph (i) (inserted by the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1977) of the following paragraphs:
“and
(j) the Treaty relating to the accession of the Hellenic Republic to the European Economic Community and to the European Atomic Energy Community, signed at Athens on the 28th day of May, 1979, and
(k) the decision, of the 24th day of May, 1979, of the Council of the European Communities relating to the accession of the Hellenic Republic to the European Coal and Steel Community,”.
Short title, collective citation and commencement.
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1979.
(2) The European Communities Act, 1972, the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1973, the European Communities (Amendment) Act, 1977, and this Act may be cited together as the European Communities Acts, 1972 to 1979.
(3) This Act shall come into operation on such date as the Minister appoints by order.
