Deontais as an bPríomh-Chiste.
£2,480,109 d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste i gcóir na bliana 1956-57.
1.—Féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais suim dhá mhilliún, ceithre chéad agus ochtó míle, céad agus naoi bpuint d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste agus í a chur chun slánuithe an tsoláthair a deonadh i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar chríoch an t-aonú lá tríochad de Mhárta, míle naoi gcéad caoga a seacht.
£69,422,620 d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste i gcóir na bliana 1957-58.
2.—Féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais suim seasca a naoi milliún, ceithre chéad fiche agus dhá mhíle, sé chéad agus fiche punt d'eisiúint as an bPríomh-Chiste agus í a chur chun slánuithe an tsoláthair a deonadh i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar críoch an t-aonú lá tríochad de Mhárta, míle naoi gcéad caoga a hocht.
Cumhacht don Aire Airgeadais chun suim nach mó ná £71,902,729 a thógaint ar iasacht.
3.—(1) Féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais aon tsuim nó suimeanna nach mó san iomlán ná seachtó a haon milliún, naoi gcéad agus dhá mhíle, seacht gcéad fiche agus naoi bpuint a thógaint ar iasacht ó dhuine ar bith agus féadfaidh Banc na hÉireann an céanna d'airleacan chun an Aire Airgeadais, agus chun an céanna a thógaint ar iasacht féadfaidh an tAire Airgeadais urrúis ar bith a chruthú agus d'eisiúint agus iad faoi pé ráta úis, agus fós faoi réir pé coinníoll i dtaobh aisíoca nó fuascailte nó eile, is oiriúnach leis.
(2) Is ar an bPríomh-Chiste nó ar a thoradh fáis a bheas muirear príomhshuime agus úis aon urrús a heiseofar faoin Acht seo agus muirear na gcostas faoina raghfar i dtaobh na hurrúis sin d'eisiúint.
(3) Déanfar aon airgead a cruinneofar trí urrúis arna n-eisiúint faoin Acht seo a chur i gcreidiúnas do chuntas an Stát-Chiste agus beidh sé ina chuid den Phríomh-Chiste agus beidh sé ar fáil in aon tslí ina mbeidh an Príomh-Chiste ar fáil.
Deontais a Leithreasú.
Suimeanna a vótáladh i gcóir seirbhísí soláthair, eadhon, £110,212,729, a leithreasú.
4.—(1) Na suimeanna uile a deontar as an bPríomh-Chiste, leis an Acht seo agus leis an Acht eile a luaitear i Sceideal A a ghabhas leis an Acht seo, chun slánuithe an tsoláthair a deonadh agus a ndéanann a n-iomlán, mar is léir ón Sceideal sin, suim céad agus deich milliún dhá chéad agus dhá mhíle dhéag seacht gcéad fiche agus naoi bpuint, déantar iad a leithreasú agus measfar iad a bheith arna leithreasú, amhail ó dháta na nAcht a luaitear sa Sceideal sin A a rith, chun na seirbhísí agus na críocha a luaitear i Sceideal B a ghabhas leis sin. An achomaireacht ar sceidil agus na sceidil a ghabhas léi sin, maraon leis an nóta (más ann), a ghabhas leis na sceidil sin, measfar gur cuid den Acht seo iad amhail is dá mbeidís i gcorp an Achta seo.
(2) I dteannta na suimeanna a deontar as an bPríomh-Chiste agus dá dtagartar sa bhfo-alt sin roimhe seo den alt seo, féadfar na suimeanna a taispeántar faoi seach sa cholún deiridh de Sceideal B a ghabhas leis seo agus a ndéanann a n-iomlán, mar is léir ón Sceideal sin, suim sé mhilliún, sé chéad agus dhá mhíle dhéag trí chéad agus tríocha a haon puint d'úsáid as aon airgead a n-ordaítear faoi alt 2 den Public Accounts and Charges Act, 1891, é d'úsáid mar leithreasa-í-gcabhair do na deontais i gcóir na seirbhísí agus na gcríocha a sonraítear sa Sceideal sin.

APPROPRIATION ACT, 1957.
Grants out of the Central Fund.
Issue of £2,480,109 out of the Central Fund for the year 1956–57.
1.—The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Central Fund and apply towards making good the supply granted for the service of the year ended on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, the sum of two million, four hundred and eighty thousand, one hundred and nine pounds.
Issue of £69,422,620 out of the Central Fund for the year 1957–58.
2.—The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Central Fund and apply towards making good the supply granted for the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight, the sum of sixty-nine million, four hundred and twenty-two thousand, six hundred and twenty pounds.
Power of the Minister for Finance to borrow up to £71,902,729.
3.—(1) The Minister for Finance may borrow from any person and the Bank of Ireland may advance to the Minister for Finance any sum or sums not exceeding in the whole seventy-one million, nine hundred and two thousand, seven hundred and twenty-nine pounds, and for the purpose of such borrowing the Minister for Finance may create and issue any securities bearing such rate of interest and subject to such conditions as to repayment, redemption or otherwise, as he thinks fit.
(2) The principal and interest of any securities issued under this Act and the expenses incurred in connection with the issue of such securities shall be charged on the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof.
(3) Any moneys raised by securities issued under this Act shall be placed to the credit of the account of the Exchequer and shall form part of the Central Fund and be available in any manner in which such Fund is available.
Appropriation of Grants.
Appropriation of sums voted for supply services, viz., £110,212,729.
4.—(1) All sums granted by this Act and the other Act mentioned in Schedule A annexed to this Act out of the Central Fund towards making good the supply granted, amounting, as appears by the said Schedule, in the aggregate to the sum of one hundred and ten million, two hundred and twelve thousand, seven hundred and twenty-nine pounds, are appropriated and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the date of the passing of the Acts mentioned in the said Schedule A for the services and purposes expressed in Schedule B annexed thereto. The abstract of schedules and schedules annexed thereto, with the note (if any) to such schedules shall be deemed to be part of this Act in the same manner as if they had been contained in the body thereof.
(2) In addition to the grants out of the Central Fund referred to in the foregoing subsection of this section, there may be applied out of any money directed under section 2 of the Public Accounts and Charges Act, 1891, to be applied as appropriations-in-aid of the grants for the services and purposes specified in Schedule B annexed hereto, the sums respectively set forth in the last column of the said Schedule amounting, as appears thereby in the aggregate to the sum of six million, six hundred and twelve thousand, three hundred and thirty-one pounds.
Short title.
5.—This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 1957.
